DR. ELIZABETH WOLFF
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
Elizabeth Wolff, MD, MPA is a physician executive who utilizes her expertise in population health, quality improvement, practice operations, and leadership coaching to transform primary care delivery to align with value-based care.
Dr. Wolff is the Founder and Principal at Wolff Consulting and Coaching, LLC, a boutique consulting firm that works with federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs), and other safety net providers to improve their strategy and clinical operations to sustainably optimize patient outcomes. As an experienced executive coach, she coaches c-suite and middle managers and leadership team in effective leadership and change management.
Prior to founding her own consulting practice, Dr. Wolff was a principal at Health Management Associates (HMA), a nationwide healthcare consulting firm focused on the public payer space. At HMA she helped FQHCs with strategic planning, team-based care, leadership development, optimizing chief medical officer performance through individual coaching, integrating behavioral health, and implementing SBIRT and medications for addiction treatment. She helped a large safety net hospital implement telehealth at the height of the pandemic.
Prior to consulting, Dr. Wolff held progressive leadership roles in FQHCs, public health, community hospitals, and health systems. She serves on the NYU Wagner Health Advisory Board and mentors college and graduate students.
Dr. Wolff graduated magna cum laude from the College of William and Mary. She attended medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College and received a Master of Public Administration at New York University Wagner School of Public Service. Dr. Wolff is a board-certified family physician and completed her residency at the University of Rochester.
